Another post of the photos of tired and dirty Seaman caught the attention of netizens.
This is the photo shared by Ticong Nicolas Jimma on the social media page SeamanLifestyle, a page for seafarers.
In the first part of her post, she said “Love your husband/ boyfriend/ family as he loves you and your relationship.”
“Saludo sa mga marinero na walang sawang nagpapagod para sa pamilya nila para lang mabigyan sila ng magandang buhay.”
The man in the picture is her husband, she shares it to show the condition of the seamen on the ship.
She wants to convey to netizens that the work of seamen is not easy so it is only right to give them extra care and love.
Perhaps many do not know what the seaman workers are really going through.
Aside from the fact that they are tired from work, they also have to endure the longing for the family just to give them a good and orderly life.
In the wife’s story, the picture was taken at three in the morning while the husband was resting for a while.
The ship route is Singapore. She said she asked her husband’s colleague where her husband was and what he was doing, and that was the picture she received.
“For a seaman’s wife like me, I think our partners deserve extra care and love when they are not onboard, instead of nagging and telling them ‘You go now. Call the office because we need money,” Jimma said in her post.
The wife also had an additional message to the seaman relatives.
“For those relatives who always think that your relative seaman is sleeping with money, just look at this pictures. Maybe it’s a wake up call to some families who are fighting over seaman’s money.”
