Rommel Rico’s Journey from Nurse to Artist and Entrepreneur

Originally a Physical Therapist and a Registered Nurse in the U.S., Rommel discovered his passion for art and successfully turned it into a thriving career. He has held two well-received solo exhibits in New York and gained recognition for his “Fishwives” series and Filipiniana-inspired artworks that celebrate his Filipino heritage.

From the mountains, MJ heads to the coast, exploring Patar Beach in Bolinao. He also visits the historic Bolinao Lighthouse, which offers breathtaking views of the coastline and the South China Sea.

Heritage Tour in Vigan, Ilocos Sur
MJ wraps up his travel series in the Philippines with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Vigan. He strolls along the cobblestone streets of Calle Crisologo with his mother, taking in the well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture. They also visit the Golden Tower at Singson’s Baluarte, where they were given special VIP access to enjoy panoramic views and exclusive exhibits.
