Child cancer help center CHILD Haus marked its 20th year of continuing care for Filipino youth with an exhibit of its story and testimonies from survivors.

The Center for Health Improvement and Life Development (CHILD) Haus exhibit on October 7, 2022, at the SM Mall of Asia’s Music hall, narrated stories from the charity organization’s small beginnings to being able to help 19,000 children from all over the Philippines.

The exhibit also featured testimonies from cancer survivors and a gallery specially dedicated to the people behind the foundation.

Philanthropist and beauty guru Ricky Reyes founded CHILD Haus in 2002 to help children with cancer finance their medication, as well as to provide a home for these children.

The initiative grew throughout the years, with the help of countless donors and sponsors who also aim to help young cancer patients.

Sponsors featured in the exhibit include Hans Sy of SM Group of Companies, Manny Sy, Sergio Yu, Macario “Jun” Gaw, Isabelita Paredes Mercado, Tates Gana, Atty. Pedrito Faytaren Jr., Jeanette Cu, MCKS, Food for the Hungry, Inc., Leo Rüngen, and Anna Karylle Tatlonghari-Yuson.

The event was rounded off with a surprise birthday party for Hans Sy whose generosity and goodwill Ricky Reyes credits for the success of CHILD Haus.

Sy’s work with CHILD Haus has led to his being awarded Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy recognition.

CHILD Haus is located at 1448 Agoncillo Street, Manila, Philippines. For inquiries, you may email them at childhausmanila@gmail.com or visit their Facebook page.
