Japanese brand Uniqlo is celebrating Pinoy culture and identity with the Salamat Pilipnas new t-shirt collection designed by local artists Isabel Santos, Manix Abrera, and Bea Policarpio.
The new UTmeArtPH x Salamat Pilipinas collection features three Filipino-made artworks for the global retailer’s 9th-anniversary celebration in the Philippines.
UT Grand Prix winner Isabel Santos’ work “Vendors” depicts the bustling marketplaces of Metro Manila.
The “Amulet” design by famed cartoonist Manix Abrera explores a modern take on the Filipino talisman or “agimat”.
Filipina artist Bea Policarpio’s abstract piece “The Sun It Gently Rises” captures the inward rush of gratitude and hope.
The UTmeArtPH x Salamat Pilipinas collection is available exclusively at the UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship Store (Glorietta 5) beginning June 3, 2021.
Uniqlo earlier released three Pinoy-themed shirts designed and illustrated by Filipino artists Robert Alejandro, Abi Goy, and Liza Flores, for the holiday season.
