Hollywood’s Eva Green has expressed admiration for her Filipina co-star, Chai Fonacier, in the upcoming thriller film “Nocebo.”

On her official Instagram account, the French actress posted a photo of her and Fonacier while on the set of the movie which began shooting in Ireland in February.

“My fabulous co-star, @chaifonacier and I from the film we are shooting, NOCEBO directed by the amazing @lorcanfinnegan,” Eva Green wrote in the caption of an Instagram post on April 1, 2021.

Green praised Fonacier’s acting, adding that the Filipina has been “an incredible partner” in the new film “Nocebo” directed by “Vivarium” director Lorcan Finnegan and written by Garret Shanley.

“Chai is truly a great actress with extraordinary depth and sensitivity and she was an incredible partner – she blew me away!” Green exclaimed.

Award-winning Filipina actress Chai Fonacier stars with Hollywood actors Mark Strong and Eva Green in the psychological thriller film presented as the first co-production between Ireland and the Philippines.

According to reports, Chai Fonacier plays a Filipino caregiver in the movie where she tries to help a fashion designer (Green) by using traditional Philippine folk healing on her.

The Pinay actress earlier flew to Dublin, Ireland to shoot the film together with Green and Strong.

Filipina theater and film actor Chai Fonacier is popularly known for her work in the films “Respeto”, “Asuang,” “Pauwi Na”, and “Patay na si Hesus,” which won her the Best Supporting Actress distinction in the 35th Luna Awards.

Filipinos playing Filipino characters in international films and television shows include Jon Jon Briones who is playing the lead role of a Filipino doctor in NETFLIX’s psychological-horror drama series, “Ratched”, and Mon Confiado starring as a Filipino character in the suspense-action-packed United States film, Turncoat.
