Philippines’ teen gymnasts win 3 golds, 3 silvers at Tavazsi Kupa Budapest

The Philippines’ teen gymnasts Daniela Reggie Dela Pisa and Breanna Labadan have together won 3 gold and 3 silver medals at the Tavazsi Kupa in Budapest, Hungary.

The Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) shared on March 8, 2021, the recent achievements of the tandem of Cebuana Daniela Reggie Dela Pisa and Breanna Labadan of Butuan who continue to win medals for the Philippines in international competitions even amidst the pandemic.

Seventeen-year-old Dela Pisa won the gold in Hoop and another gold in Clubs, while picking up a silver medal in Ribbon.

Fourteen-year-old Labadan won the gold in Clubs, a silver medal in Ball, and another silver in Ribbon.

The Filipina gymnasts are mentored by world champion Coach Dora Vass. The duo also secured silver medals at the Gracia Cup held also in Budapest in February.

In 2020, Dela Pisa and Labadan also secured gold medals at Santa’s Cup in Budapest.

The teenage gymnasts from together brought home 5 golds from their victorious 3-country European campaign in 2019.
