Filipino tennis star Alex Eala showed why she is a world top-ranking player as she ruled her first competition amid the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Spain.

The World No. 4 Junior Tennis champion from the Philippines bested her competitors at the Toni Nadal Heliocare tournament held in Mallorca, Spain on August 24, 2020 (August 25 Philippine Time).

The 15-year-old Eala ruled over Matilda Mutavdzic of Great Britain, 4-0, 4-1, to cap her impressive run at the tournament that had the teen star also winning against Italy’s Sofia Neri and Isabella Righi with 4-0, 4-0 results.

Eala also bested Mutavdzic in January in her historic Grand Slam Doubles win with Indonesian tennis partner Priska Madelyn Nugroho at the 2020 Australian Open.

Alex Eala turned pro this year and won her first match at the Women’s Futures in Tunisia.
