Filipino actress, entrepreneur, and celebrity chef Judy Ann Santos has added another milestone to her illustrious career by completing a professional culinary arts program at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies, proving that “you’re never too old to learn something new.” The YouTube content creator, mother, and multi-hyphenate celebrity achieved this new milestone despite her busy schedule.

This new achievement followed her triumph at the Metro Manila Film Festival in December 2024, where she won Best Actress for her movie Espantaho.

The multi-awarded actress and celebrity chef shared the inspiring news of her recent achievement on social media on January 13, 2025, the day she graduated from the Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS).

In a video posted on Facebook, Santos, who was honored as the batch gold medalist, shared her joy in starting the year 2025 by achieving her dream.

“Long overdue na talaga ito. Hindi pa kami nakaka-graduate kasi nagka-pandemic. Finally, for the first time, may graduation. Makakamartsa na ako. Natapos ko na kasi ’yong pro skills ko dito sa CACS. Ito na ’yon. (This was really long overdue. We couldn’t graduate before because of the pandemic. Finally, for the first time, there’s a graduation. I’ll finally get to march. I’ve completed my pro skills here at CACS. This is it.) This is my chance,” she said.

What a good way to start 2025. Akalain mo nga naman. Ibang klase ang universe sa akin today (Who would have thought? The universe is really something else to me today),” the actress added.

“Last na I graduated here at CACS is a long, long time ago. And then I decided to further my skills. Sabi nga ni Ryan [Agoncillo, her husband], ‘If you want to have beautiful memories in a rock and roll culinary school, CACS is the place to go.’ Kasi rock and roll talaga ang mga professors dito,” she said in her graduation speech.

“It is this school that made me believe I could actually do so much more apart from acting. The world of culinary is endless. Wala s’yang corners. It is round, it is big, and it is a beautiful journey. So congratulations to all of us,” she continued.

The celebrity chef ended the video with the remark: “You’re never too old to learn something new. So let’s keep learning some more. Yehey! I’m a graduate at 46!”
