Gymnastics

  • Carlos Edriel Yulo (Men’s Artistic Gymnastics):
    • July 27: Advanced to finals in floor exercise (2nd, 14.766), vault apparatus (6th, 14.683), and men’s all-around (9th, 83.631).
    • July 31: Finished 12th in men’s all-around finals (83.032 points) after a fall.
    • Upcoming: Floor exercise finals on August 3, vault finals on August 4.
  • Levi Jung-Ruivivar (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics):
    • July 29: Finished 28th with a score of 51.099.
  • Emma Malabuyo (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics):
    • July 29: Finished 29th with a score of 51.099.
  • Aleah Finnegan (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics):
    • July 29: Finished 33rd with a score of 50.498.

Boxing

  • Nesthy Petecio (57kg Women’s Boxing):
    • July 31: Advanced to round of 16 after defeating Jaismine of India via unanimous decision.
    • Next bout against French boxer Amina Zidani on August 2 (August 3 Manila).
  • Aira Villegas (50kg Women’s Boxing):
    • July 29: Defeated Moroccan boxer Yasmine Mouttaki by unanimous decision.
    • Will face Algerian boxer Roumaysa Boualam on August 1, 8:16 PM Paris (August 2, 2:16 AM Manila).
  • Carlo Paalam (57kg Men’s Boxing):
    • July 26 & 31: Won against Brendan Irvine (Ireland) and Jude Gallagher (Ireland).
    • Heads to the quarterfinals.
  • Eumir Felix Marcial (80kg Men’s Boxing):
    • July 31: Lost to Turabek Khabibullaev of Uzbekistan in the round of 16.
  • Hergie Bacyadan (75kg Women’s Boxing):
    • July 31: Lost to Tokyo silver medalist Li Qian of China in the round of 16.

Rowing

  • Joanie Delgaco (Women’s Rowing Single Sculls):
    • July 30: Reached quarterfinals, finishing 6th.
    • Competing in Finals D to determine ranking.

Fencing

  • Samantha Catantan (Women’s Fencing):
    • July 28: Advanced to the round of 32 after defeating Mariana Pistoia of Brazil. Lost to Arianna Errigo of Italy, 12-15.

Judo

  • Kiyomi Watanabe (63kg Women’s Judo):
    • July 30: Eliminated by Jing Tang of China.

Swimming

  • Kayla Sanchez (Women’s 100m Freestyle Swimming):
    • July 30 & 31: Set a new national record (53.67 seconds). Finished medal quest in semifinals (54.21 seconds).
