Italian master artist Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel ceiling paintings exhibition is coming to the Philippines this 2023, bringing the frescoes of Biblical panels up close to the viewer.
“Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition” features the Vatican’s treasured art created over four and half years and remade into 34 life-sized panels for the touring show.
“Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition” featuring the artist’s masterpieces found at the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel and printed using special techniques for the show will have its run from July 1 to September 30 at the 2nd Floor Main Hall of Estancia Mall in Pasig.
Organizers of the exhibition and Estancia Mall announced on March 24 the scheduled Manila run of the upcoming show which has been on tour worldwide since 2016 including stops in England, the United States, Poland, Australia, and China.
Tickets for “Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition” will be available starting April 16, 2023, through the Sistine Chapel Philippines website.
