Here’s a list of Christmas Wonderlands this festive season that sightseers can visit in the provinces of Cavite and Quezon, and in Marikina City.
The numerous attractions in these Philippine travel destinations bring the Christmas spirit vibe – perfect for people who enjoy sparkly picture-perfect sceneries.
After COVID-19 struck in 2020, many holiday wonderlands and festivities in the country went fully online to help Filipinos safely celebrate the holidays.
Now that restrictions have eased to allow people to leave their homes and travel, several parks and areas that have been turned into magical lands of lights have opened to the public with the minimum public health protocols observed.
Here is a list of places you can now visit to experience the spirit of Christmas:
Scintillating Christmas Roads and Parks in Cavite
When it comes to a bright and sparkly Christmas, Dasmariñas City in Cavite, will definitely not be last on the list.
Feast your eyes as you pass along Daño Street or ‘Snake Road’ and Kadiwa Park of Dasmariñas ahead, where road islands and sidewalks are covered with colorful lanterns, hanging lights, and scenes radiating the holiday cheer of Christmas.
Moreover, alongside Kadiwa Park, you will come across another attraction — the Promenade Des Dasmariñas. It is a public park boasting of a world-class urban garden where people can unwind, exercise, bike ride, and take ’Instagrammable’ photos.
The landscaped garden has an eye-catching cascading waterfall, a colorful fountain, and refreshing views.
This Christmas season, the park is filled with gigantic lanterns and multicolored lights.
Paskong Quezonian 2022: Christmas Wonderland in Quezon
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Quezon province’s Lucena Perez Park, now converted into a magical wonderland of glistening lights and holiday decorations.
The attraction is now available for public viewing after it was officially lit up last November 25. The magnificent tunnel of lights, a giant Christmas tree, a Christmas village, and 3D Mapping enticed many people during the opening.
“Paskong Quezonian, Bida ang Pagmamahalan” is the theme of the place and event, which symbolizes and represents each town in Quezon.
Christmas Saya Carnival in Marikina
If you want more than a sparkling destination, have a fun and thrilling Christmas season at the Riverbanks Center in Marikina, as they operate a colorful carnival and bazaar named “Christmas Saya”.
Residents and local tourists can enjoy the 12 exciting rides, including the Ferris wheel, Viking ride, carousel, bump cars, and game booths.
After rip-roaring with the carnival rides, there are bazaars where you can experience Christmas shopping and food galore, offering all kinds of affordable viands.
The “Christmas Saya” is open from 3 p.m. until midnight.
Numerous holiday destinations and activities have reopened since the surge of the COVID-19 pandemic ended.
With all the glistening lights, lit-up roads or avenues, thrilling activities, holiday carols, and festive sceneries, we still need to practice the health protocols to fully enjoy the spirit of a Christmas celebration this year with our loved ones safe and sound.
