The first Filipina winner of Miss Global 2022, Shane Quintana Tormes, is a cover girl for Glamour Bulgaria.
The cover page of the women’s magazine shows a fierce Shane Tormes in a glitzy and weave-inspired magenta fashion number.
Inside the August issue of Glamour is a fashion spread of Shane wearing pieces inspired by the colors of the Philippine flag and the Pink lotus crown of the pageant.

Tormes went on social media to talk about the ‘surreal’ opportunity she never thought she would have. She added that the magazine cover is ‘another goal unlocked’ and considers it a blessing in her experience as Miss Global.

The Filipina beauty queen’s Miss Global family greeted their dearest Pinay titleholder on her 31st birthday last September 4 and reminisced how the new Pink Lotus Crown was introduced last year and is now with the Philippines.

Shane Tormes is the first-ever Filipina to win the Miss Global title since its establishment in 2011. She won the crown overcoming tumultuous odds last June in Bali, Indonesia.
She joins a roster of beauty queens in gracing international magazine covers such as the Big 4 titlists Pia Wurtzbach, Kylie Verzosa, Megan Young, and Angelia Ong on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, Catriona Gray on Harper’s Bazaar International, and Mela Habijan on TransBeauty Magazine London.
