Direk Rene “Nonoy” Molina chats with Angelo Tolentino of the Filipino-Canadian family who has been making the headlines for being winning chess players.

Angelo was born in the Philippines and studied at De La Salle University in Manila while playing in tournaments. His passion for chess was taken up by his kids and together they played as a family even while in the Philippines.

When the Tolentino family migrated to Canada, Angelo found a chess club that involved tournaments – and the Tolentino kids next proceeded to make history.
