Rachelle Ann Go reprises role as Fantine in “Les Misérables” UK, Ireland tour

Filipino singer-actress Rachelle Ann Go will be reprising her role as Fantine in the United Kingdom and Ireland tour of the world-famous musical “Les Misérables” this May.

Go is set to return to the stage as the tragic heroine Fantine in the stage musical adaptation of Victor Hugo’s novel of the same title after playing the character in the musical’s West End production last year.

The musical announced the Filipino theater actress’ return to the role through a casting announcement posted on its official Facebook page.

“Rachelle Ann Go will once again dream the dream as Fantine in the acclaimed #LesMizTour from 16 May,” the musical’s official Facebook page announced on April 21, 2022.

Go will take over the role once again in the UK and Ireland tour of the acclaimed musical starting May 16, 2022.

Rachelle Ann Go made her debut as Fantine in the West End production of “Les Misérables” in 2015. She reprised her role in 2020, also in West End.

Go’s international musical theater credits include playing Gigi Van Tranh in the hit musical Miss Saigon, where she won Best Supporting Actress in a Musical. She also won Best Actress for portraying Eliza Hamilton in Hamilton’s original West End production.
