Filipino folk-pop band Ben&Ben is set to perform its new song for the first time in an upcoming live event at the Expo 2020 Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
The band will be playing before a live audience at the world expo’s Jubilee Stage for the act’s first in-person concert of the year.
Ben&Ben will debut the unreleased “Comets”, a song about bittersweet love, in the show which will take place on January 27, 2022, 9 p.m. Dubai time (January 28, 1 a.m. Manila time).
The band’s performance will also be live-streamed globally for fans on Facebook.
“This is a live audience show. Bring your Mahiwaga,” Ben&Ben posted the invitation in a Facebook post.
Ben&Ben is a popular nine-piece band from the Philippines composed of twin brothers Miguel and Paolo Benjamin. The act capped off a year of song collaborations and milestones with fellow Filipino hitmakers such as SB19 and Moira Dela Torre.
The band was also named the most-streamed Filipino artist on Spotify with 1,190,834,525 streams.
