Sofia Frank and reigning national champion Edrian Celestino will represent the federation and join this year’s Nebelhorn Trophy, an Olympic qualifying event, to be held from September 22 to 25 in Oberstdorf, Germany.

Julian Macaraeg, who became the first speed skater to represent the Philippines at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics, will fly solo for speed skating.

The Philippines has competed in the Winter Olympics since 1972 and has sent national champions such as Michael Martinez and Asa Miller.
