The Ateneo Bulatao Center of the Ateneo de Manila University is now offering free psychological counseling services online for adults.
The Ateneo Bulatao Center for Psychological Services said it has started providing “free brief psychological services” to extend a helping hand to the public amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“This is a free counseling service where you can speak with responders who will listen to you and provide a safe psychological space as you share your distress,” the Ateneo Bulatao Center announced in a Facebook post on August 25, 2021.
Each session will be conducted online through Zoom and is aimed to equip Filipinos with coping strategies and emotion management skills to help alleviate distress.
The service is limited to two sessions per person and is open to all Filipino adults over 18 years of age.

The Ateneo Bulatao Center clarifies that its services are not a substitute for therapy nor serve as a crisis hotline.
Those who are experiencing current distress and in need of urgent attention should proceed to the emergency room of their nearest hospital or call the hotlines below:

Ateneo has also opened a drive-through and walk-through RT-PCR)testing facility on campus to help Filipinos get easier access to coronavirus testing.
