The Big 4 international beauty pageants’ Filipino titleholders – Pia Wurtzbach, Megan Young, Kylie Verzosa, and Angelia Ong – have finally met on the cover of the July 2021 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam.
Miss World 2013 Megan Young, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Gabrena Ong, and Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa are featured on the front page of the fashion magazine’s 10th-anniversary issue donning ensembles in the colors of the Philippine flag.
“Driven, brave, visionary, and persistent,” the cover reads.
The Filipino queens also shared photos from the stunning shoot on social media.
“Me and my girls on the cover of @bazaarvietnam. Time warp to Temptation Island…version 2021,” Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach wrote in her post.
“Did someone say, Queens? from the powerhouse of Asia, Team #Philippines,” Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa wrote in a post.
“Nagsama sama din sa wakas,” Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong wrote.
“Careful, careful now. Mahirap i-achieve ang golden tan!” Miss World 2013 Megan Young wrote.
“Sharing the cover of @bazaarvietnam with these beautiful and strong women,” Megan adds.
The Filipino beauty queens’ Instagram posts about the cover photo reference lines from the 1980s Filipino film “Temptation Island” directed by Joey Gosiengfiao and starring four beauty contest winners.
In a feature on its website, Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam shared more images featuring Wurtzbach, Young, Verzosa, and Ong as they talk about the worthwhile causes they’ve been pursuing after taking home crowns from their respective beauty pageants.
Wurtzbach, Verzosa, and Young were the cover girls for Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam’s 2018 issue.
Filipino actress Alex Gonzaga was also recently featured on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam’s 10th-anniversary edition.
