Open educational scholarships for returning women OFWs and families

Women OFW returnees to the Philippines are being offered scholarships for skills development.

Educational scholarships are being offered for returning women overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) or their family members to learn new skills.

The National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NRCO) announced on International Women’s Day that 350 slots have been opened for the 2021 scholarships.

Women OFW returnees or their families can choose from the available online classes in technical-vocational, web design, contact center services, bookkeeping, and other skills.

Scholarship applications will be accepted until March 19.

The scholarship program is a joint project of OWWA-NRCO, TESDA-NCR, ILO Women in STEM, and ILO-UN Women Safe and Fair Program.
