Filipino agripreneur Anjanette Tadena’s Team AHA! has won the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership (AASYP) RESET People’s Choice Awards.

The University of the Philippines Los Banos alumna and her two teammates from Indonesia was announced on November 1, 2020, as the team which won over other Top 100 finalists out of over 2,000 participants from all over ASEAN and Australia who joined the ASEAN-Australia Youth Innovation Challenge 2020.

​Team AHA! proposed an inclusive friendship and mentorship matchmaking app that is dedicated to ASEAN-Australian youths.

TEAM AHA! members include:

  • Anjanette Tadena (Philippines)
  • Hendri Surya Widcaksana (Indonesia)
  • Adriana Viola M. (Indonesia)

AASYP Reset​ is a virtual innovation challenge inviting recent graduates, current university students, and young professionals of all disciplines across ASEAN and Australia to collaborate on projects that foster stronger people to people connections between youth in the region.

Earlier this year, Anjanette Tadena won the International Youth Leaders Agribusiness Incubator Competition in Laos.

When the community quarantine was enforced, Tadena initiated programs such as the Bayanihan Project and the Pangasinan Kindness Station to help Filipino farmers cope with the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic that shut down markets for harvests
