Rocksteddy band founder and “It’s Showtime” host Teddy Corpuz is one of the celebrities who openly opposed the opening of classes through the online class, because it is not certain if it is really effective. Especially, not everyone has internet access and a device or gadget.
But since the classes have been opened, especially in private schools, there is nothing you can do but follow.
On September 5, 2020, Teddy called on online schools to slow down in providing activities to children, especially since parents are also struggling with this adjustment.

“Dear online schools, hinay-hinay lang po sana sa pagbibigay ng mga assignments especially sa mga elementary level. Give time sa mga bata para masanay mag-type sa keyboard, open and save files, search sa internet etc. Kaming mga parents nga nalilito ano pa yung mga anak namin,” Teddy stated.
