Beloved by many, the local store ‘Booksale’ is now accepting online orders from Filipino bookworms who cannot leave their homes amid the community quarantine.
The bookshop is famous for its affordable selection of bestsellers and hard-to-find titles alike.
The bookstore is the country’s biggest source of low-priced unused, as well as previously-owned, books, and bargain publications from the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the UK.
Booksale is also a major distributor of locally-printed slick Pinoy magazines in both English and Filipino. It currently has 91 branches nationwide.
Among the bestsellers posted are contemporary titles from “The Hunger Games Trilogy” writer Suzanne Collins, Dan Brown, Veronica Roth, and George R. R. Martin. Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express”, Edgar Allan Poe’s short story collection, and more are also up for grabs.
Available copies are now listed online by branch on the store’s official Facebook page.
Customers can avail of the books by contacting the designated store’s representative to place their orders and make payment.
Buyers can arrange for store pick-up or delivery via their preferred courier service.
Booksale also has a staff member to assist customers with orders for office and school supplies, as well as a “plus” service for special online orders.
