BTS breaks 5-year-old major iTunes record previously held by Adele!

Nothing can stop BTS from being the biggest group on the planet!

The seven-member group is becoming synonymous with breaking records and making history. And we are not complaining!

Yesterday, July 6, the septet’s pre-released single “Black Swan” from their latest album, “Map of the Soul: 7” just topped the iTunes chart in Cape Varde, making it it’s 103rd #1.

Previously, “Black Swan” achieved #1’s in 93 regions, making it the song with a highest number of #1’s for a Korean act and for groups in history.

Adele’s record was 102 #1’s with her chart topping hit, “Hello” and she achieved this major feat 5 years ago, in October 2015.

No one even came close to Adele’s record for 5 years, even big western pop acts could not even beat it.

But of course, not BTS! Their fans, known as the ARMY, collectively decided to break Adele’s record out of the blue.

BTS has been quite busy these days preparing for their Japanese comeback this month, and also for their upcoming self-made album.

So what did the ARMY do to entertain themselves? Yep, break records.

This impressive feat is a big deal. Because it means that BTS is really global, having passionate fans in 103 countries.

As of this writing, “Black Swan” already has 104 #1’s, with the latest coming from Belize.
