It seems like this is the most successful comeback of the girls. For more than a year, Blinks (BLACKPINK fans) have been in a drought due to the lack of content from their favorite quartet.
But now, the drought is over! BLACKPINK came back with a powerful and catchy single, “How You Like That“. Probably the most anticipated comeback in K-POP, the girls achieved so many records with it.
On June 30, Guinness World Records announced that the group achieved 5 new titles with their latest music video.
Right now, their music video for “How You Like That” holds the title for “Most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours”, “Most viewed music video on YouTube in 24 hours,” and as well as the “Most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group.”
Youtube confirmed that BLACKPINK got 83.6 million views in 24 hours.
Supergroup BTS previously held these titles for their single, “Boy With Luv” in 2019, which garnered 74.6 million views.
In addition to this, BLACKPINK also achieved “Most viewers for the premiere of a video on YouTube” and “Most viewers for the premiere of a music video on YouTube.” Again, BTS previously held these titles for their music video, “ON“.
K-POP is really taking over the world and I am here for it!
